Our home for the weekend is beautiful lake side house. Spacious, bright, and airy featuring beautiful finishes. With your choice of four different room options. Enjoy forest trails only a few steps from the home, a dip in the lake, time around the fire pit, and the wood fired sauna.

Katherine Markhauser is passionate about creating spaces where women can move their bodies - whether through strength training or on their mats. Her work centers around building community and creating spaces where people can come together to move & meet like-minded people.
Her signature Burn class blends traditional Pilates with functional movement. The classes are designed to feel good in your body while still challenging you - combining compound movements into flowing sequences that sculpt the entire body with every rep, building strength while lengthening and toning muscles.

Jewelia Orlick is a meditation teacher whose work focuses on helping people release anxiety, slow down, and create space for stillness. Her approach blends nervous system regulation, gentle mindset work, and accessible meditation designed to bring more emotional balance into daily life. Known for her warm and down to earth teaching style, Jewelia helps women cultivate a deeper sense of safety within themselves so they can move through life with greater confidence, trust, and alignment

check-in & check-out
Check in is on Friday September 4th at 4pm, your first pilates class starts at 5pm, and is followed by dinner. Check out is on Sunday September 6th at 12pm, after brunch.

FAQ
Q: I am coming by myself but I want to share a room to keep my costs down, can I do that?
A: Of course! We will pair you up in a room with another women who's in the same scenario & you'll leave the weekend with a new friend!
Q: What is a solo room versus a shared room?
A: Solo is single occupancy (a whole room & ensuite bathroom to yourself). Shared is double occupancy, shared between you & another guest. All rooms have private ensuite bathrooms.
Q: I have dietary restrictions. Can this be accommodated?
A: Absolutely, angel. Just let us know ahead of time and we will let the kitchen know.
Q: Do I need to bring a yoga mat or equipment?
A: No. All equipment will be provided for you - including yoga mats, bolsters, blocks, pilates balls, bands, and meditation cushions.
Q: I don't have a car. Can I still come to the retreat?
A: Getting to the retreat will be your responsibility. No transportation will be provided. We suggest inviting a friend so you can carpool with her. You can also explore the option of taking the train to Kingston, and getting a taxi/uber ride to Bloom Holistic Retreat Center from the main station.
Q: I've never done mat pilates or meditated before, can I still attend the retreat?
A: Yes of course! Katherine creates classes for all levels & gives modifications if needed in pilates. As for meditation, Jewelia is known for leading approachable and down to earth meditations that truly relate to our day to day life and for all experience levels!
